Quotes from some of the stories on the
2010 Moonlight Walking Tour:
“He was under life sentence as one of a trio which killed an Iowa farmer…”
“…captured by the German army and sent to work in Nazi factories…”
“When tractors took the place of horses, it was the ‘downfall of the country’.”
“Just before midnight a nurse…checked his room…and was unable to find him
anywhere in the house.”
Our Moonlight Walking Tour visits the graves of many special people buried at Hills of Rest.
They are special because of events that occurred during their lifetimes
or the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
