Aleene Annette Williams

Sioux Falls, SD ~ Aleene Annette Williams, age 76, died on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at her home in Sioux Falls, SD.  Funeral services will be 1:30 PM on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Sioux Falls with burial at Hills of Rest Cemetery.  Her family will be present to greet friends for visitation on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory in Sioux Falls from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  

Aleene Annette Angle was born on February 14, 1950 in Sioux Falls, SD to Earl and Fern (Kenyon) Angle.  She was raised and received her education in Sioux Falls, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1968.  Following high school, Aleene continued her education at South Dakota State College in Brookings, before earning her bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis on accounting from Black Hills State University.  

Aleene spent her working career in accounting working as a Certified Public Accountant in the communities of Casper, WY, Ft. Pierre, SD, Madison, SD, Rock Rapids, IA and Sioux Falls, SD.  She retired in 2024 from Grant and Williams Inc.  She took great pride and loved her work in the accounting industry.  

Aleene enjoyed cooking; especially baking, making crafts and enjoyed all types of puzzles.   She loved to volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America, the Lions Club and Wesley United Methodist Church.  Above all she loved spending time with her family.  Aleene was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed.  

Grateful for having shared her life are her son, Bill (Danielle Farley) Williams of Sioux Falls, SD; three grandchildren, Gavin, Aidan and Landon Farley; brother, Dave Angle of Sioux Falls, SD; niece, Trisha (Jeremy) Thill; and great-nephew, Aidan Thill; many other relatives and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Fern Angle.
