Angela "Angie" Dawn Scholl

 

Sioux Falls, SD ~ Angela “Angie” Scholl, age 44, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024.  Her family will be present to greet friends for visitation from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at George Boom Funeral Home &On-Site Crematory in Sioux Falls, SD.  Her funeral service will be 10 AM on Thursday, November 7, 2024 also at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory in Sioux Falls.

Angela “Angie” Dawn Scholl was born on November 16, 1979 in Mankato, MN to Raymond and Jacqueline “Jackie” (Stoltzman) Scholl.  She was raised and received her education in Sioux Falls, attending, Hawthorne Elementary, Axtell Park Middle School and Lincoln High School.  Angie then continued her education earning a degree from Killian Community College.  Angie with her love of children spent her working career in childcare.  In 2014, Angie achieved her dream of owning and operating her own daycare in her home.  With determination and hard work, she made it her passion to give children a safe and nurturing environment to grow. Angie loved her daycare children as her own.   

Angie from a young age developed a love for life. With a smile and laugh that would light up any room Angie was blessed with the ability to make anyone in need feel, loved, important and seen.   Her greatest blessing was of being a mother, and grandmother.  Not only to her children, but was as a mother to her children’s teammates.  Attending a countless number basketball and football games, Angie became a mother to many, and opened her home to anyone in need. Above all, she cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, provider and friend who will be deeply missed.  

Grateful for having shared her life are her sons, William Thompson, Yankton, SD and Kendis Ledbetter, Sioux Falls, SD; daughter, Miriam Thompson, Sioux Falls, SD; two grandchildren, Zayd Thompson No Heart and Kyrie Thompson; her mother, Jackie (Dave) Fideler, Harrisburg, SD; two brothers, Michael (Sesilla) Keenan and Curtis (Becky) Scholl of Sioux Falls, SD; her two canine companions, Lucy and Tank; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.    

She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Scholl.
