Catherine “Cathy” Alice Griffith, age 81, of Sioux Falls, SD, died on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Ava’s House by Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, SD. Her family will be present for Visitation on Sunday, July 20, 2025, from 3:00-5:00 PM at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, July 21, 2025, at George Boom Funeral Home with Interment at Hills of Rest Cemetery, Sioux Falls.   

Grateful for having shared her life are daughter, Laura (Scott) Larsen of Des Moines, IA; Phillip (Angela Krause) Griffith of Midland, MI; siblings, Patricia “Pat” Oren, Sioux Falls, SD, Dale (Donna) Wetzbarger, Longmont, CO and Tony (Greg) Hoff, Sioux falls, SD; sisters-in-law, Kim Wetzbarger, Baltic, SD; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.  

Cathy was preceded in death by her husband and partner for over 64-years, Dan Griffith on April 14, 2025; an infant child; her parents, Gates and Alice Wetzbarger; step-mother, Pearl Neuberger; one brother, Wayne Wetzbarger; and brother-in-law, Dale Oren.
