Cherry Ann Isaacson

Cherry Ann Isaacson, age 79, of Sioux Falls, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2026 at the Sanford USD Medical Center. Her Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 3801 E 26th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103. Visitation will be one hour prior the to the Memorial Service, Tuesday morning at the Church. Interment will be in the Hills of Rest Cemetery.

Cherry Ann Isaacson was born on November 26, 1946, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to William and Evelyn (Jones) Pigman. She attended public schools in the Philadelphia area and graduated from Methacton High School in Farview Village Pennsylvania in 1964. Following high school she moved to Sioux Falls and worked at Terrace Park Dairy where she met her husband, Maynard. Later she worked at the Holiday Inn in downtown Sioux Falls. There she had various duties including planning conventions and meeting the celebrities and politicians that came to town. She was especially impressed by Ronald Reagan.

Cherry Ann and Maynard were married by Rev. Aaron Hyde at Westminster Presbyterian Church in 1985.

Cherry Ann and Maynard enjoyed traveling to the Carolinas and Florida with many stops along the way. They also enjoyed visiting Howard and JoAnne Hillman at their winter home in Arizona.

Cherry Ann had many hobbies including painting, knitting and jewelry making. She loved to decorate and created a lovely, warm and inviting home. She also had a full-time job keeping Maynard away from the cookie jar.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Maynard and step-sons Steve and Tom and their families, and sister and brother-in-law Linda and Harald. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Don (Maynard's twin).
