Erlyn Mae (Brown) Gardner was born November 4, 1929 and met her Lord on April 16, 2025 in Fairfield, CA after a brief illness. Raised in Sioux Falls, SD by parents Earl and Mabel (Hanson) Brown she met and married Paul E. Gardner on February 27, 1949. After their marriage she was off for a life as an Air Force wife. Their travels took them to various bases in the U. S. and the world including Turkey and her favorite station, Hawaii. While at Travis Air Force Base she was the president of the Officers Wives Club and was active in the transport and arrival of orphans' of the Vietnam war. When they retired to Destin, FL she became a successful interior decorator and was well known for her impeccable ability to entertain in style. Eryln was preceded in death by her husband Paul, sister Enid and her grandson Tommy Joe. She is survived by her bother Keith, son Tom (Nancy), daughters Judy (Mike) and River, grandchildren Brooke, Kris, Sean, Kelsey, Lauren, Josh, Danny and Camber. Great grandchildren are Cadence, Skyla, Kaleigh, Layni, William, Neko, Kai, Max, Pharoah, Gideon and Nico.
Final resting place will be Hills of Rest in Sioux Falls, SD. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity. A special thank you to Erlyn's friend and the staff at Paradise Valley Estates.
