Julie Ann Mathers

Julie Ann Mathers, age 67, passed away peacefully Jan 4, 2026 at the Good Samaritan Home in Canistota, where she has resided the past 11 years.

She was born on December 31, 1958; Sioux Falls, SD, the daughter of Harold and Isabelle (Jones) Mathers. She graduated from Lincoln High School.

Julie loved to read, write letters, work with her many crafts, paintings, puzzles, and large collection of stuffed animals. Although troubled throughout her life with various medical issues, Julie will always be remembered by for her childish giggle and wonderful smile when she saw or heard anything that “tickled her fancy”.

She is survived by three siblings: William "Bill" (Diane) Mathers of Lake Madison SD & Mission, TX, Cindy (Rod) Smook of Peoria, AZ, and Richard "Dick", (Monica) Mathers of Dothan, AL.
