Lori Lynn Jensen

Lori L. Jensen, age 62 of Sioux Falls, SD passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 18, 2025.  Her Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls.  Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 PM on Monday, December 22, 2025 also at the funeral home.  Interment at Hills of Rest Cemetery.  

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sioux Falls Humane Society in her honor.

Lori Lynn Hayes was born September 2, 1963 in Sioux Falls, SD to Rodman “Tom” and Joyce Marie (Riet) Hayes.  She graduated from Washington High School in 1981.  She married Mark Jensen November 2, 1984 in Sioux Falls, SD.  To this union, one daughter, Danielle was born in 1995.  Lori worked at CitiBank, First Premier Bankcard, and most recently as a substitute teacher, which she loved the most.  

Lori enjoyed fashion, make-up, skincare, dogs, interior design, scrapbooking, gardening, seasonal decorating, and most of all spending time with her twin granddaughters.  Her and Mark enjoyed traveling to Yellowstone, Black Hills, Colorado Springs, and riding motorcycle.  

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Mark Jensen of Hartford, SD; daughter, Danielle (Cooper) Baltzer of Sioux Falls, SD; two granddaughters, Ruby and Rosalind; her brother, Steven (Barb) Hayes of Sioux Falls, SD; and a host of other relatives and friends.  

Lori was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Joyce (Riet) Hayes; and her sister, Barbara.
